Brattle Consultants to Discuss Recent Offshore Wind Transmission Studies at Clean Energy States Alliance Webinar
Presented to Clean Energy States Alliance
Principal Johannes Pfeifenberger and Senior Associate Walter Graf will join a Clean Energy States Alliance webinar, “The Costs and Benefits of Offshore Wind Transmission Options,” which will take place October 23 at 11:00 a.m. (PT) / 2:00 p.m. (ET).
Mr. Pfeifenberger and Dr. Graf will discuss two recent studies, prepared for Anbaric Development Partners, which found that by using a planned, shared transmission network, there could be significant benefits to the region including reduced environmental impacts, reduced costs, and reductions in risks that could hinder offshore wind development.
Mr. Pfeifenberger and Dr. Graf reference two previous Brattle studies during their presentation, “Offshore Wind Transmission: An Analysis of Options for New York,” and “Offshore Transmission in New England: The Benefits of a Better-Planned Grid.” The slides they presented can be found below, and the recording of the webinar can be found here.
