Dr. Beemon is an economist specializing in the application of theory and econometric modeling to matters in labor, health, and competition economics.

He has supported economic experts in a variety of litigation matters, including by providing statistical analysis of competitive conduct in antitrust cases, econometric modeling of employee behavior, and class certification in labor and employment cases. He also has experience consulting on public policy and regulatory matters, particularly in the airline industry.

Prior to joining The Brattle Group, Dr. Beemon was a Senior Economist at a global economic consultancy. He previously worked for the Wisconsin Institute for Research on Poverty, where he conducted Medicaid policy evaluations for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. His research has focused on structural modeling of the labor market and health insurance decisions, as well as the interrelation between employment and health.
