Farooq Javed

 Mr. Javed is an expert in economic analysis and financial valuation, which he applies to litigation, arbitration, public policy, and other matters related to software, technology, venture capital, and private markets.

He has served as an expert witness in litigation and arbitration proceedings related to the value of private securities and portfolios of private securities, as well as the analysis of contracts with complex options. In addition, Mr. Javed has experience supporting high-stakes litigation related to white-collar crime, international financial fraud, and sanctions evasion.

Mr. Javed has more than 20 years of experience as a consultant, investor, and operating executive. He has held leadership positions in product, finance, and go-to-market at a major enterprise software company, growing the business from a private venture-backed startup to a $6 billion public enterprise. In 2019, he co-led the company’s initial public offering (IPO) on the New York Stock Exchange.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Javed was a venture capital investor supporting investments in technology companies, two of which went public. Prior to his investing work, Mr. Javed formed a company to acquire spectrum licenses and worked with investors to acquire spectrum in the United States and Canada.
