The Brattle Group and Sidley Austin to Host Webinar on Energy Storage and FERC Order 841

Brattle economists and partners from Sidley Austin LLP will host a webinar, “Energy Storage and FERC Order 841: Potential 50 Gigawatt Market,” taking place April 4, 2018 at 12:00 pm (EST).

The webinar will discuss energy storage and Brattle’s recent study on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) recent order on energy storage in wholesale energy markets and how states can build on it to make multiple generation, transmission, and distribution value streams available to storage owners. The webinar will review the key findings in the report, including industry trends favoring storage, wholesale market barriers, state regulatory action, getting to 50 GW storage potential, and implications for existing storage resources.
