Brattle Principal Peter Fox-Penner Keynotes EBA’s Mid-Year Meeting

Dr. Peter Fox-Penner, a principal in Brattle’s Washington, DC office, will keynote the Mid-Year Meeting of the Energy Bar Association (EBA) on Thursday, December 9, 2010. This year’s meeting, “Staying Ahead of the Curve: Managing Energy Risk, Financing, and Technology in the 21st Century,“ will address the most immediate challenges facing the energy industry and ways for the industry to navigate a changing business environment. Dr. Fox-Penner has been asked to provide his perspective on these changes and share insights from his new book, Smart Power: Climate Change, the Smart Grid, and the Future of Electric Utilities.

The EBA’s mid-year meetings typically attract over 400 participants including energy practitioners, policy-makers, and academics. The 2010 meeting will include remarks from Susan N. Kelly, President of the Energy Bar Association and the American Public Power Association, as well as The Honorable John R. Norris, Commissioner at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
