The Brattle Group’s Peter Fox-Penner to Discuss Smart Power at Upcoming World Bank Seminar

Brattle principal Peter Fox-Penner will be presenting his most recent book, Smart Power: Climate Change, the Smart Grid, and the Future of Electric Utilities, at a seminar hosted by the World Bank Group on April 6th in Washington, DC. The event is part of the Europe and Central Asia Region (ECA) Chief Economist Seminar Series.

Dr. Fox-Penner will discuss Smart Power and the transformation the U.S. electric utilities industry must undergo to address the impacts of climate change, the smart grid, and energy efficiency policies. The seminar, which is open to World Bank members only, will feature several economists in the energy sector who will address how changes in utilities will affect the developing world.
