Brattle principal Peter Fox-Penner will serve as a panelist at an upcoming dinner discussion on “Responsible Energy Development: Addressing Common Challenges and Opportunities,” taking place June 23, 2014 in Denver, CO.
Co-hosted by Noble Energy, the panel discussion is part of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) America, an annual event hosted by President Clinton, former Secretary Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton that brings together leaders from the business, foundations, NGOs, and government sectors to develop solutions for economic growth, long-term competitiveness, and social mobility.
The abundant energy resources produced across the U.S. require all parties to reexamine the traditional social and regulatory frameworks in which energy is produced, consumed, and exported. The panel will address the ways in which the North American energy revolution is altering the geopolitical, economic, and energy policy landscapes. In addition, panelists will discuss how natural gas and renewables have the capability to deliver favorable energy outcomes given their abundant domestic resource base, low-carbon profiles, and overall risk profile in a complementary fashion.
