Brattle Principal Marc Chupka will present during the Energy Bar Association’s (EBA) Mid-Year Energy Forum, taking place October 16-17, 2017 in Washington, D.C.
The event gathers attorneys, energy professionals, and students active in all areas of energy law to discuss topics including antitrust, international energy transactions, legislation and regulatory reform, electric utility regulation, alternative dispute resolution, and much more.
Mr. Chupka will present during the panel discussion, “A New Sheriff in Town: The Trump Administration’s Dramatic New Approach to Energy and Environmental Policy,” which will review the implications of the U.S withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord and the series of Executive Orders that has required the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to reconsider and/or revise major Obama era regulations intended to combat global warming. Panelists will also discuss how this may change the energy industry and markets in the coming years.
