Brattle Principal Frank Graves will present at SNL Knowledge Center’s Energy Utility Regulation Conference: Strategies for Profit and Reliability, taking place December 14-15, 2016 in Washington, DC.
The conference, presented on behalf of S&P Global Market Intelligence and in partnership with Regulatory Research Associates, brings together utility executives, advisers, regulators and investment professionals to share their perspectives on the overall landscape and financial alternatives for utilities in the current regulatory environment.
Mr. Graves will present during the panel session, “Rate Design and Structure: Rate Case for the Modern Utility.” Panelists will discuss how technology, updated energy storage, and rooftop solar are forcing utilities to re-examine existing pricing methods. In addition, they will examine alternatives rate making methods, special pricing structures and various incentives from the utility, regulator, and customer point of view.
