Frank Graves to Present at Edison Electric Institute’s Strategic Issues Roundtable

Brattle Principal Frank Graves will present at Edison Electric Institute’s (EEI) Strategic Issues Roundtable, taking place September 27-29, 2017 in New Orleans, LA.

The event brings together key industry stakeholders to discuss and debate critical energy topics and issues facing the electric power industry.

Mr. Graves will present the session “New Modeling Program,” which will discuss the rise of distributed energy resources (DERs) and how the industry must change its planning tools and regulatory criteria in more than evolutionary ways. In addition, he will discuss a system dynamics simulation platform developed by Brattle, which addresses questions regarding DER adoption and its impact on cost reallocation, efficient rate design, ability to mitigate the extent of inefficient bypass adoption, and much more.
