Brattle Principal Elaine Buckberg will present at the American Bar Association’s (ABA) 12th Annual State and Local Procurement Symposium, taking place April 27-28, 2017 in St. Louis, MO.
The event, co-sponsored by the ABA Section of Public Contract Law and the ABA Section of State and Local Government Law, will address state and local procurement issues and diverse topics of interest from the ABA Forum on Affordable Housing and the ABA Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice.
Dr. Buckberg will present during the panel discussion “Current Issues in Private Partnership (P3) for State and Local Procurement.” Panelists will discuss procurement issues, experiences of counsel and policy makers involved in development and funding of state and local P3 projects, and trends in P3. In addition, panelists will explore legislation and public policy authorizing P3 ventures, financing a P3 project, and practical tips on negotiating and contracting for the success of a P3 project.
