Brattle Principals Ahmad Faruqui and Peter Fox-Penner to Speak at CPower Roundtable on the Changing Business Model of Utilities

Ahmad Faruqui, a principal in The Brattle Group’s San Francisco office, and Peter Fox-Penner, a principal in The Brattle Group’s Washington, DC office, will participate in the second installment of CPower’s SmartTalk Energy Roundtable webinar series taking place on June 16, 2010. Dr. Faruqui will moderate the roundtable, which will focus on the impending shift in utilities’ business models from infrastructure to service-based. The roundtable will explore issues including the impact on consumers and utilities and the possibility of improvements in energy efficiency.

The webinar will feature Dr. Fox-Penner, who recently authored a book on the future of utility business models (visit www.smartpowerbook.com for more information), along with Gary Green, Director of Engineering in Southern California Edison’s Business Customer Division, and Harvey Michaels, a research scientist and lecturer on energy efficiency at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
