Dr. Pinar Bagci is a Principal who specializes in competition matters in energy and financial markets. Her clients include energy companies, regulators, governments and global banks, whom she has advised extensively in connection with EC and UK antitrust investigations and in-depth merger, European Commission (EC) State Aid, and other competition and regulatory assessments.

Her recent assignments include the CMA investigation of competition in the UK energy market, an investigation by the European Commission of alleged collusion in the global market for credit default swaps, and the alleged manipulation of Libor in connection with private litigation in the UK Commercial Court. She has also worked extensively on matters related to market design and regulation in EU gas and electricity markets and advised extensively on competition matters arising from the determination of payment card interchange fees. Dr Bagci is a Special Adviser on competition matters to the UK Parliament Treasury Select Committee.
