Ilinca Popescu

Ms. Popescu is an expert in corporate finance and valuation issues, particularly in damages assessment in the context of complex arbitrations and litigation.

She specializes in valuations involving extensive financial modelling. Ms. Popescu-Draganesti has worked on both investor-state and commercial arbitrations and has testified and written expert reports in multiple languages. She has testified in a shareholder dispute in front of a Bogotá Chamber of Commerce tribunal as well as in front of an International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) tribunal regarding the expropriation of a microfinance institution.

Ms. Popescu has provided valuations and damages assessments across various industries, including the energy, financial services, telecommunications, and chemical sectors. She works with both public and private sector clients located in countries around the world, including Canada, Chile,  France, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Peru, the Philippines, Sudan, Angola, Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, and the UK.

Ms. Popescu has been with The Brattle Group for over a decade. She helped teach a core corporate finance and valuation module at the London Business School.
