Dr. Kamerschen is currently a Distinguished Professor of Economics and the Jasper N. Dorsey Chair of the Department of Economics at the University of Georgia

Dr. Kamerschen has been a Professor of Economics for over 30 years. He has previously been an Instructor at Miami University and Michigan State University, and a Professor at Washington University and the University of Missouri. He has consulted and/or provided expert testimony in approximately 135 antitrust cases, 45 public utility hearings, and 130 wrongful death, wrongful termination, and personal injury cases. He has acted as an economic consultant and/or appeared as an expert witness for the Antitrust Division of the US Department of Justice, for and against the Federal Trade Commission.

Dr. Kamerschen is the author or coauthor of Intermediate Microeconomic Theory, Principles of Public Utility Rates, Economics, and Money and Banking. He has authored over 200 articles in numerous economic, financial, legal, and statistical journals and has been selected for inclusion in the first three editions of Who’s Who in Economics: A Biographical Dictionary of Major Economists. Dr. Kamerschen has been a member of the National Association of Forensic Economists and Associate Member of the American Bar Association.
