Brattle Economist Armando Levy to Participate in CLE Presentation on Use of Expert Testimony in Antitrust Class Certification
Brattle senior associate Armando Levy will present during the upcoming Antitrust Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco’s CLE program, “’Lay of the Land’ on the Use of Expert Testimony in Antitrust Class Certification: Recent Views of SCOTUS, Circuit Courts and District Courts.” This program will take place on Monday, April 29th at 11:30 AM PST.
Dr. Levy will present alongside Thomas Brown, Partner at Paul Hastings LLP, and Chris Micheletti, Partner at Zelle Hofmann Voelbel & Mason LLP. The panel will discuss the standard for admissibility of expert testimony at class certification, strategy considerations for filing a Daubert motion, and challenging commonality of proof of impact and damages - and beating back that challenge.
