Environmental Litigation and Regulation

The Brattle Group offers clients economic, finance, engineering, and regulatory consulting in virtually every area of environmental policy and litigation. The primary focus of our practice is settlement and litigation support. We apply our multidisciplinary expertise to liability estimation, the allocation and recovery of costs, claims of property value diminution, natural resource damages, insurance valuation, business damages, and non-compliance penalties.

We help firms manage liabilities, assess regulatory impacts, and develop business plans to take advantage of the changing regulatory environment. We have worked on issues driven by all major environmental regulations including the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, RCRA, CERCLA, and occupational issues under OSHA.
